I haven’t blogged about my New Year’s Resolutions properly, and you’re saying, “It’s the first of February you handsome idiot, aren’t you a bit late?” That’s where you’re wrong dear reader. I have decided that rather than do one huge resolution I will never accomplish I am going to do twelve little ones that make small improvements to my mind, body and soul. January was drink more water, which I think I have managed happily and enjoyed. February is going to be get a little bit fit.
What do I mean by that? Well every day I’m going to do some crunches and attempt to get myself to manage a proper set of push ups without passing out. I’m going to gradually increase the amount of crunches and push-ups as the days go on so hopefully by the end of the month I will be in a little bit better shape. Oh and planks! I love a plank.
So the reason for this gratuitous picture is that hopefully in 4 weeks time there will be a slight difference in how my body looks. I’m not looking for something major, just a step in the right direction. I have been blessed with fantastic genetics and a great metabolism that lets me eat whatever the hell I want and not gain weight. But I’m not fit. I can’t run or lift or do anything that I would need to survive a zombie apocalypse - and that is my main motivation. That and looking sexxi when summer rolls around!
